The most adventurous will skip the tourist trails and explore the real backcountry as you bike and hike through the mountains, National Parks and to the very heart of the wild and mysterious landscapes.

Ultimate New Zealand Adventure – Hiking, Canoeing, Biking

Auckland or Rotorua to Queenstown

Experience the very best New Zealand has to offer with this ultimate outdoors package! Your 6 overnight hikes will highlight the diversity of NZ Wilderness. Walk around Lake Waikaremoana in Te Urewera and in the volcanic wonderland of the Tongariro National Park. Hike, swim and paddle a waka (Māori canoe) in the pristine waters of Abel Tasman National Park. Hike through rain forested canyons on the West Coast and sleep under the giant Ballroom Overhang. Mix it up with some cycling on the West Coast Wilderness Trail before heading into the mountains and the fiords for challenging hiking. This tour offers basic comfort with accommodation in wilderness huts, camping and cabins. Bathrooms are often shared. On this trip everyone lends a hand at cooking, collecting firewood or pitching a tent.

South Island Triple Trails – Biking Tour

Explore three of NZ’s best South Island Cycle Trails on this 14-day fully guided adventure: you will cycle the spectacular Alps to Ocean Trail, Central Otago Rail Trail and the West Coast Wilderness Trail all in one trip! Majestic rugged snow-capped mountains, spectacular glaciers, wild coastlines, emerald blue lakes, lush pastures dotted with sheep – it’s all here and within reach. New Zealand boasts an amazing variety of landscapes and equally amazing biking. Between bike rides, you will also take a scenic ride on the Taieri Gorge Railway, enjoy a wine tasting and admire NZ’s native birds and forest from a Treetop Walkway. Accommodation is a mix of hotels, motels and B&B.

Eco-Adventure in Paradise – South Island Small Group Tour

If you’re short on time, and are looking for a multi-sport adventure all based in one beautiful spot, this is the trip for you. Glenorchy is a quiet hamlet only around 45 minutes’ drive from bustling Queenstown. The small town is perched on the edge of Fiordland and Mt Aspiring National Parks, on the shores of Lake Wakatipu.
Surrounded by the Humboldt and Richardson Mountains, Glenorchy is the perfect base for 4 nights, 5 days exploring some of our favourite lesser known hiking trails, bike to Paradise and kayak to Pigeon Island.
You’ll spend all 4 nights at Camp Glenorchy, New Zealand’s only net-zero energy accommodation, giving you the perfect base from which to navigate to some of our favourite spots, in the company of expert local guides.
